David Wong offers an interesting perspective on why men react / behave towards women as they do in his article “5 Ways Modern Men are trianed to Hate Women.” http://www.cracked.com/article_19785_5-ways-modern-men-are-trained-to-hate-women_p2.html Are men as helpless to these pressures as Wong seems to think? Where do we focus on solutions: The media? society? biology? Is it possible for both men and women to someday move beyond these pressures and accept each other as we are? The comments to the article were also enlightening, particluarly from the transgendered person who hopes for a day when we can let down our socially-acceptable facades and truly just be ourselves. Could it be that we are still caught in the winds of evolution?
