Teenagers in SD Learn How to Cook Buffalo!

Buffalo was the staple of the Plains Indian diet just 100 years ago, but a century of dependence on Government supplied food has led to a loss of cultural identity and rampant health problems. This South Dakato program which teaches students how to cook buffalo has the potential of creating a new generation with new ideas about how to re-introduce the buffalo back into their lives and culture. Its a very exciting notion!
